HAVE THE REUNION ON A DATE OTHER THAN FATHER'S DAY.
LOCATION THIS YEAR IS THE SAME AS LAST YEAR, AND BY LOOKING PREVIOUS
PICTURES AND POSTINGS, YOU CAN SEE BOTH PICTURES OF THE PARK AND THE LOCATION, AS WELL AS HOW TO GET TO IT.
LUNCH WILL BE PLANNED FOR 1:00, BUT PLAN TO ARRIVE EARLY FOR VISITING AND CATCHING UP.
BRING A COVERED DISH, AND ITEMS FOR THE REUNION SUPPORT AUCTION.
PROBABLY BE A GOOD IDEA TO BRING CHAIRS AND EATING UTENSILS.

but, here's what's going on for this summer
Wendy's cruise ins, second saturday of each month, at the southside wendy's at 2601 gihon road, parkersburg, w.va. 26101--helpful in case you are using a gps.
Registration for all begins at 4:00 P.M.
Saturday, June 12, theme is Hawaiian Luau.
Saturday, July 10, theme is Cars and Stripes
Saturday, August 14, theme is Alma Mater night
Saturday, September 11, theme is Fallen Heroes Night
Saturday, October 9, theme is Halloween. Come in costume, you or your car.
Shows--
Homecoming show at parkersburg city park, Saturday, august 21, 2010, registration from 9:00 to 1:00.
Saturday, August 28, 2010--(Pay no attention to the flyer, it says 2009) Honey Festival show in city park, registration 9:00 to 1:00. this is a judged show for 1984 and older cars and trucks.
Registration for the WEndy's cruise-ins is $5:00, and for the two shows, it is $10:00 each.

PAAC Homecoming show flyer

Well, appararently it worked this time, and there it is, although not in complete color like the cruise in flyer.
i don't know why it didn't work before, i did everything just like i did with the cruise in flyer.

this is the flyer for the HOMECOMING CAR SHOW, SATURDAY, AUGUST 22 IN PARKERSBURG CIY PARK.

cruise in schedule

Just in case you missed it, here is a flyer from the Wendy's Cruise-in series for 2009.
the first one was held on June 13, and we had an outstanding 205 cars registered.
there was also a huge turnout of spectators, including several in old cars who chose to spectate rather than register.
Since we were honoring volunteers, there were several fire trucks and other public service vehicles and personnel on hand.
Wendy's is definitely the place to be on the second Saturday of each summer month.lp

march winds
well, the march winds have spoken, it is now april and the snow is blowing. but, we had a good meeting at Western Sizzlin in spite of that.
hope the snow gets through soon, so the april showers can bring may flowers.
Steve passed out the new flyers for Wendy's cruises, and, as usual, it will be a fun line-up. this year there will be a change in prizes, and the club will be eligible for some of them.

its a bold new year
Well, the February meeting has come and gone, and we all enjoyed some good food at the Western Sizzlin steak house.
There were a few glitches, but John is working them out, and expects that the next meeting there will go better.
the board just met and decided that the summer picnics will all be at the Fort Boreman park, so that should be lots of fun, and a great place to exercise our old cars.
i put a couple of pictures on here from a previous indoor car show at the Kroger building at the mall.
I am pretty sure that everyone knows Joe Hutchinson, but this is a good chance to see him in full performance regalia. we are glad that he is doing well.
be of good cheer, spring is almost here.
