Saturday, July 12 at Wendy's was a great evening. the weather was perfect, We had hardware and personnel from the National Guard. We had young ladies from the ROTC presenting colors, we had just a great variety of activity.
Doug Terrell, and all of Wendy's, did a great job of securing lots of door prizes, as well as arranging for the activities.
Ollie's was on hand with a table, and Foodland provided a number of gift certificates. our thanks to them, and all the other sponsors.
And, a special thanks to Doug, to Ray Blackburn, and to all their employees and family who pitched in and helped.
Also, a special thanks to all the owners of the 158 cars that were registered, and thanks to all the spectators who visited.
There was lots of help from the club, and lots of club cars in attendance.
I had planned to take pictures, but neglected to bring my camera. however, I am posting one picture here of a car that was in attendance. It belongs to Carola and Bernie Garrett, who drove down from Coshocton, Ohio in their 1979 Chrysler Cordoba, to take part in the Cruise-in.
