this is another attempt to upload the homecoming flyer. let's see if it works this time.

Well, appararently it worked this time, and there it is, although not in complete color like the cruise in flyer.

i don't know why it didn't work before, i did everything just like i did with the cruise in flyer.

this is the flyer for the HOMECOMING CAR SHOW, SATURDAY, AUGUST 22 IN PARKERSBURG CIY PARK.

well, the flyer was going to be on here, but it would not upload for some reason.

Just in case you missed it, here is a flyer from the Wendy's Cruise-in series for 2009.
the first one was held on June 13, and we had an outstanding 205 cars registered.
there was also a huge turnout of spectators, including several in old cars who chose to spectate rather than register.
Since we were honoring volunteers, there were several fire trucks and other public service vehicles and personnel on hand.


Wendy's is definitely the place to be on the second Saturday of each summer month.lp

march winds

well, the march winds have spoken, it is now april and the snow is blowing. but, we had a good meeting at Western Sizzlin in spite of that.
hope the snow gets through soon, so the april showers can bring may flowers.
Steve passed out the new flyers for Wendy's cruises, and, as usual, it will be a fun line-up. this year there will be a change in prizes, and the club will be eligible for some of them.

its a bold new year

Well, the February meeting has come and gone, and we all enjoyed some good food at the Western Sizzlin steak house.

There were a few glitches, but John is working them out, and expects that the next meeting there will go better.

the board just met and decided that the summer picnics will all be at the Fort Boreman park, so that should be lots of fun, and a great place to exercise our old cars.

i put a couple of pictures on here from a previous indoor car show at the Kroger building at the mall.

I am pretty sure that everyone knows Joe Hutchinson, but this is a good chance to see him in full performance regalia. we are glad that he is doing well.

be of good cheer, spring is almost here.

February meeting

well, i think everyone knows by now that George just suddenly and precipitously closed his Caesar's restaurant without notice to anyone, leaving us without a meeting place in January.
However, the board has met, and the february meeting will be at the new Western Sizzlin restaurant at (or near) Lubeck.
this may not be the most satisfactory location for everyone, but it was the only one that anyone could come up with.
if anyone has a better or different suggestion, contact John Rockhold, or bring it up at the meeting so it can be studied.
and remember, everything will be fine in 09

IMORTANT NOTICE ABOUT THE JANUARY MEETING.
THE JANUARY PAAC MEMBERSHIP MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
This has been made necessary due to the closure of Caesar's Restaurant.
He gave us no notice, just closed up and we found out about it later.
Arrangements will be made for a new meeting location.
