HOMECOMING AND HONEY FEST SHOWS

Well, august has certainly been busy. First the Wendy's cruise-in, followed on the next Sunday by the Homecoming show, then on the following Saturday by the Honey Festival Antique Show.
The homecoming show featured Gilmer Whartons Eldorado on the t-shirt and dash plaque, and the Honey fest featured Bill Beall's Chevelle the shirt.
Thanks to Dan Wharton for sponsoring the HOmecoming dash plaque.
Thanks to Steve Snyder for sponsoring the Honey fest plaque which featured his 1924 Studebaker.
the weather was great for both shows, which were both well attended, and very much enjoyed by all who were there.
Next club meeting will be on Sept. 2, and will be a picnic at Fort Boreman park. watch for the newsletter for reservataion info.

WENDY'S FOR AUGUST

WOW! WHAT A GREAT CRUISE-IN.
200 CARS REGISTERED, AND A GREAT CROWD OF ONLOOKERS AND SPECTATORS.
We were privileged to be able to present Ray Blackburn and Doug Terrell with a donation of $1,500 for the Dave Thomas Adoption program.
Iin addition, a combined donation by Rebel Rousers, Wide-trackers, Blennerhassett Corvett Club and a lot of individuals, along with our Pioneer club, was made to the family of long time cruise-in and car show participant, Jerald Smith, who recently passed away.
Many thanks to all who helped with the cruise-in, and all the work associated with it.
It was a truly wonderful sight, and a night to be remembered.
And, all those team supporters were very enthusiastic in promoting their own team.
Next month, HAIL THE KING-it will be Elvis night all over again.
Until next time, be happy.
